Becoming Her Cabria Brown

In this episode, I discuss the chokehold of internalized homophobia, gaining confidence in my queerness, exploring my sexuality, embracing who I've always wanted to be as a artist and as a black queer woman creating a path that aligns with her happiness. It's insane who when you confront and relinquish your deepest insecurities you truly blossom in ways you could have never expected! Releasing all heteronormative societal and cultural norms that can shallow you whole. You love parts of yourself you were born to hate, to shame, to hide and you see in beauty in who you are. You see how deserving of love, prosperity and a life worth living fulled with joy. That is the path I am on, the healing journey I am on today and that you can be on with me! You deserve a life that you can be free in sexuality and be as fluid in your gender expression, break the binary mold.

In this episode, I discuss the heavyweights of expectations and the overall pressure to succeed that I've had to experience within my 20s! I just turned 20 this year in March,  and this has been a hell of a year reflecting back. Along with now releasing these expectations that have been affecting my entire life, as in with relationships, adulting, sexuality, and career goals! It is the standard to have everything figured out, which in reality causes more harm than good. I know many twenty-somethings can relate to this constant crisis because we are always comparing our journey and rushing our many "firsts" experiences! However, I know there is more to learn and experience in my twenties all the while I am taking time to enjoy this time of my life to live authentically and to be guided what I truly desire, even if it means to make choices that only feels right to me. I am super excited to continue creating and thriving in 2022 especially taking you guys along the ride. Abundance is our birthright. I'll see you guys in the next episode of becoming her! In this episode, I discuss the fraudulence of MLM's, the entrapment of the system, why many people join them, and my vulnerable personal experience of how I left! This episode was a little longer than my usual episodes, but I had a lot to discuss!  To be honest with you yall, I wanted to discuss this topic for a while, but I wasn't fully comfortable expressing my experience due to.. trauma. However, after a few months healing, distancing from social media, and self-reflecting I was able to achieve that inner peace, which I discuss briefly in the pod episode! I discuss further the impact of MLM culture ( pushing hustle culture), having a "business" broke and who you are molded into becoming a person you don't recognize. I was super transparent with his episode and I hope I was able to honor or speak up for the individuals who were scarred by this experience or saved someone from entering! In this episode, I discuss the power of self-talk and how you can truly save yourself with the words you speak. As usual, I spoke gratitude and appreciation for all the new listeners and supporters! Especially because, we hit 100 listeners! I'm so grateful, we will be moving from 100 hundred to 100k listeners, this would not have been possible without yall! As with this episode, we discussed the reality of self-talk, how negative thoughts can your own image of yourself, examples of self-talk, Insecure references, and how to improve with controlling your thoughts. Sometimes we don't realize how the tiny voices in our head can affect us, that is why one day at a time we have to turn our negative self-talk into positive. It is a journey to love ourselves, but we truly owe it to ourselves.

In this episode, I discuss confronting fears and how projection is a reflection of your greatest fears. As usual, I spoke gratitude and appreciation for all the new listeners and supporters! It truly makes me love being a podcaster and inspiring, growing, and healing with you all! As I've said, in this episode, we talk about how last week I dealt with a lot of anxiety, gave a life update to show transparency, and was even consumed by fear to the point where I could not face the harsh realities in front of me. I talked about what happens when you don't face your fears, projection is a reflection of your fears and judgments, and how to move foward by facing your fears head-on by reminding yourself you are more than your fears along with other tips. At the end of the day, we are human beings fear is a part of our lives, but we don't have to allow it to consume us, because there is more to life than fear, we can truly enjoy our lives and live our truths authentically.
