Over approximately the past decade, Facebook has been investing millions of dollars into telecommunications infrastructure and partnerships to connect Africans to the Internet. A recent study conducted by Analysys Mason highlights how Facebook's investments in infrastructure and connectivity across Africa could deliver over $57 Billion in economic benefits over the next five years (2020–2024).
