Today we Control the Narrative with Dr. Kimbria "Kim" Jackson. We sat down in Washington, DC last Sunday for a candid conversation, where we touched on a number of topics, from her journey to becoming a educator. We talked about her transition from Teaching and Coaching to becoming a Math Coach for teachers with a primary focus of bridging the gap between instruction and long lasting retention.  Dr. Jackson took some time out to speak on her new role as assistant principal and how much she is enjoying her current tenure at McKinley Technology High School in Washington, DC, where she hope the strides made reflect statistically.

November 18, 2020 - Absentee Ballots can be mailed.
December 7, 2020 - Deadline to register to voter for runoff election.
December 14, 2020 - Early Voting Begins.
January 5, 2021 - Runoff Election Day.

On this episode of Controlling the Narrative please join us as we grapple with a pandemic that seems to be laying in the bushes waiting to start bussing. We start this episode off with some pertinent information on asymptomatic and why it is important to understand.
We transition to dealing with the heavy load of more black bodies being snatched away from us at the hands of law enforcement across the United States of America. 2020 has produced an array of emotions and obstacles for everyone to navigate. Sad part is, we're only in the month of June with six more months to go before we can lay this year to rest properly.
We are in the midst of what appears to be a uprising.  Join us as we navigate the emotions that come with that along with ways to come out stronger.

We talked about the role of Manager/A&R and got a first hand understanding of what the music industry is like from behind the scenes to his current top 5.
