1,310 episodes

In 2007, The Football Ramble was born out of Luke Moore, Pete Donaldson, Marcus Speller and Jim Campbell’s passion for the most popular sport in the world—as well as a shared inability to take themselves too seriously. Since then, the boys have come a very long way: from a best-selling book to sold out live shows.

Now, joined by Jules Breach, Kate Mason, Andy Brassell and Vithushan Ehantharajah, the Football Ramble brings you daily episodes of equal parts insight and hilarity. All this and more, Monday through Friday. Lend us your ears and we’ll keep you up to date with the latest stories from the Premier League and all around Europe, all with an eye for both the sublime and the ridiculous.

Leicester cross the verge, Alisson bags a magnificent header, and Barcelona smash Chelsea's UCWL hopes

A cracking weekend of football meant a Steve Bruce attacking masterclass has been pushed alarming far down today's running order. Marcus, Luke and Jim are here to try and squeeze it into a packed ol' Ramble!

Brother Brendy emerged triumphant from a ridiculously tense FA Cup final, with Kasper Schmeichel and Youri Tielemans providing the moments of magic. Elsewhere, Chelsea were blown away by some vintage Barca brilliance in the Women's Champions League final and Alisson grabbed a last-minute winner for Liverpool!

The Preview Show: Liverpool prise open the door, Brucey's summer holiday plans, and the FA Cup final is here!

The Preview Show: Liverpool prise open the door, Brucey's summer holiday plans, and the FA Cup final is here!

Marcus, Vish and Luke arrive with a load of suggestions to help Ole Gunnar Solskjær tighten up United's defence: keep an eye on Fred, mark Thanos at the back post, etc. All that and a load more on today's episode of The Preview Show, sponsored by Betway!

Elsewhere in dreamland, Leicester will be hoping to make history and snatch the FA Cup trophy from the desperate clutches of Chelsea's Kepa Arrizabalaga, who's been at Wembley since Tuesday. We also hear what Steve Bruce has planned for the holidays and Pep Guardiola looks to improve the classic British night out. Shameful.

Arsenal desperately scramble, Palace’s Lampard gamble, and Rangers’ unbeaten ramble

Arsenal desperately scramble, Palace’s Lampard gamble, and Rangers’ unbeaten ramble

Arsenal scored what might be the most chaotically awful goal of the season to keep their Europa Conference League fire flickering. Jules, Luke and Andy pour scorn over that blaze after some bizarre comments from Mikel Arteta in the post-match.

There’s plenty of time for other nonsense elsewhere, as Plymouth’s vaccination queues inadvertently snake towards Argyle’s club shop and Sir Alex Ferguson gives Steven Gerrard some valuable advice. In relocation news, the Champions League final’s off to Porto and there’s murmurs of Frank Lampard arriving late into the Selhurst Park box, slotting his CV in the net.

Manchester City achieve greatness, Leicester reach for Europe, and we batter some stanchion owls

Manchester City achieve greatness, Leicester reach for Europe, and we batter some stanchion owls

Do you remember when Man City were languishing in 13th and we all thought Pep Guardiola had lost it? Kate, Jim and Andy let off some indoor fireworks to celebrate their remarkable title win.

Leicester's stanchion-loving Luke Thomas sealed the deal for City, with his goal helping the Foxes towards next season's Champions League. We also give owls some more deserved stick, get a Derby County update and try to find an obscure Roy Hodgson film - mainly so he can watch it himself.

Fulham drop back down, Edinson Cavani goes round again, and we buy a football club

Fulham drop back down, Edinson Cavani goes round again, and we buy a football club

All their pretty passing and Scott Parker’s svelte knitwear couldn’t keep Fulham in the league, unfortunately. Marcus, Pete and Vish are here to pick through the gently flickering embers from this extremely prolonged car crash.

Speaking of svelte, Edinson Cavani has booked another year on Ole’s Fun Bus – which is now protected by 35-foot concrete walls and Navy SEAL patrols outside Old Trafford. There’s also some big Football Ramble acquisition news, as we look set to manage Tranmere Rovers and take control of Salernitana, ahead of their return to Serie A.

The fall of Big Sam, Chelsea put Man City’s party on hold, and Wayne’s Film Club

The fall of Big Sam, Chelsea put Man City’s party on hold, and Wayne’s Film Club

That’s a wrap on the English Football League, as Wayne Rooney slips into a warm bubble bath in front of Sister Act II and Florentino Perez makes a tantalising offer to endlessly yo-yoing Rotherham. Kate, Jim and Pete are here to look back on a dramatic weekend!

Big Sam furiously edits his CV after West Brom slip through the trapdoor, while Thomas Tuchel outmanoeuvres Pep Guardiola’s indecipherable formation. Plus, Neil Ruddock in the Rock, Paper, Scissors World Championships.

Really fun

Have been listening for years. Have loved the new format along with adding diversity to the voices that are heard on the ramble. Would (and have) recommend to any football fan who doesn’t take themselves and rivalries too seriously. Thanks guys! Jesse from Cape Town
