Interviewing Michael Nixon Livy NST for the BTPA Integral Health with Ben Calder

    • Health & Fitness

I'm really excited to share the first of a series of interviews I'm doing for the the Bowen Therapy Professional Association (BTPA) to talk with some of the major researchers and developers of Bowen Technique to support both students and practitioners of Bowen Technique and for the public to have a better understanding of Bowen Technique and associated developments in body work.

In this first interview, I talk with Michael Nixon-Livy, who has developed NST (Neurostructural Integration Technique) and the significant and important Osteospinal seminars that underpin his work. It was fascinating to hear about Michael's history and how his practice developed and was influenced by various fields in his early development.

We talk about some of the differences between classical Bowen and NST and where Michael feels the field of body work is going and what we should be looking towards over the next 10 years. We also chatted a little about his upcoming visit to the UK and Europe to teach his Osteospinal seminars this spring and summer.

To learn more about Michael, please see the NST website https://nsthealth.com/
