Candle in the wind

From the first moment, I was absolutely captivated by this story.
John B is extremely opinionated, judgemental and at times downright vulgar; yet Brian tells his story with such finesse that the audience is drawn to John B’s deep vulnerability and razor-sharp intellegence. One can’t help but share the almost-impossible-to-carry burden on John B’s shoulders as he talks about global decay, yet rejoice in the masterfully balanced moments of joy, love and adoration that others recount about him.

I listened to this probably 10+ times; I wish Serial would make additional episodes and share every recorded moment of the John B McLemore story!

Brilliant

I loved this podcast. Albeit somewhat strange, Brian and the various interviewees throughout the podcast tell a story of a brilliant, strange man.
