WTATL - EP75: "Cuddle Carlo"
Episode 75 and its a tough one, with Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal all losing at the weekend the team brave through and analyse a tough round of fixtures. Mark is impressively composed after a 4th league defeat in a row after Everton steal the points at Anfield. Tanya's Spurs/Jose rant is back and she is as fed up as she has ever been. And Abdi and Junior argue again about Aubameyang this season and Mikel Arteta at Arsenal. All that plus praise for Leicester, Fulham, Man of the week plus Abdi resurrects Footballers in trouble with the law and a tricky quiz!
WTATL - EP74: "Wherever He Goes, I Go"
Episode 74 opens with the spotlight game, Man City's destruction of Spurs as Junior praises the excellent Gundogan whilst Tanya dissects the problems at Tottenham under Mourinho with some tough words for a selection of Spurs players. More woe for Liverpool as they capitulate against Leicester as Mark struggles to analyse the problems Liverpool face lately. The team give praise to Fulham & Josh Maja for their win at Everton, David Moyes' Happy Hammers and an Aubameyang Hat trick as Abdi expresses his loyalty to Saka. WTATL - EP73: "Dribbling Demon"
Episode 73 is a fun one. The team gather to pour over the heavy Liverpool defeat at Anfield as Man City put a marker down in the title race. A disappointed Mark looks ahead to the top 4 race and discusses the reinforcements needed at Anfield. Abdi goes nuclear in his assessment of specific Arsenal players as Arsenal lose again at Aston Villa, listen in to hear the honest expectations from the Arsenal lads. Tanya is more positive in her assessment of Tottenham's win over West Brom after a terrible week before we briefly talk about the toxic nature of social media and trolls in football. WTATL - EP72: "Bottle Job Virus"
Episode 72 - the team are back again this week to discuss a busy week of Premier League football. A stalemate at the Emirates Stadium is this week's spotlight game, with not much to discuss we wonder if either team were unlucky not to win. As well as covering a few lowkey 1-0 wins for Man City and Crystal Palace, the team discuss Newcastle finally winning again against disappointing Everton. Thomas Tuchel earns his first win as Chelsea's manager with some praise for his immediate implementation of his footballing philosophy. Then we get into a couple of sensational performances from Patrick Bamford and Mo Salah as Mark is overjoyed with Liverpool's excellent week. And finally, a gloomy Tanya provides her latest rant about the troubles at Spurs after a couple of defeats as he lays into Jose Mourinho's negative tactics. WTATL - EP71: "His Dream Job"
The team are back for another recap of FA Cup football, Liverpool’s exit at the hands of Man Utd is the spotlight game, Mark discusses an improved performance and his expectations for the rest of the season before the team engage in a tense debate about Liverpool’s transfer strategy. Then its World War 3 as Abdi and Junior go toe to toe to discuss the problems at Arsenal after an underwhelming defeat at Southampton, it goes off! We invite Chelsea fan Ardian back on to the podcast to discuss the sacking of Frank Lampard and his assessment of the current situation at Stamford Bridge, Ardian painfully discusses the sacking of the Chelsea legend as news comes through of Thomas Tuchel’s arrival. Tanya is the only upbeat member of the team after Spurs secured their passage into the next round with a win at Wycombe but she’s a little less positive about Gareth Bale’s lack of impact this season. Episode 70 - The team open up with a discussion on the top of the table clash between Liverpool and Man Utd, we get Mark's thoughts on Liverpool's dip in form as well as possible transfer solutions. We give credit to a solid performance from Luke Shaw but Junior is critical of Man Utd's approach. Elsewhere, there's wins for rampant Man City, Leicester keep going and piling on the pressure and we cover the low scoring wins for Brighton, West Ham and Chelsea. Tanya is full of praise for Ndombele and the wonder goal, was it goal of the season so far? Whilst Abdi and Junior discuss Arsenal's comfortable win over Newcastle and discuss Steve Bruce's odd tactics. After a lengthy discussion on the legacy of Mesut Ozil at Arsenal, we give our nominees for Man of the week and who we think is the most underrated player in the premier league!
