Boxing and Acupuncture with Smiley
Last week I started to interview people again for this podcast. Health log, mentally still working on it, physically still working on it, and emotionally still working on it. My first guest from my long sabbatical is my friend Edgar aka "Smiley". He's an ex amateur boxer who talks about his journey into almost going pro. There are a lot of people that he met in his boxing career right before it was cut short due to a work related injury. Smiley brings up the power of acupuncture in his life. Thank you all for continuing to listen to me and my guest. I love you and very much appreciate you. Enjoy, please like, share, subscribe, and leave a comment. Good Times with Steve Simeone
Steve Simeone sits down to talk to me about his life growing up, religion, and just being a nice guy on this planet that is filled with so many people that have somewhat forgotten what it means to be nice. We talk about physical health and him sparring in jiu-jitsu and his spiritual health as a follower of Catholicism. This has been a busy week full of a lot of unexpected surprises, pleasant, but unexpected. Life is like that sometimes. A routine is perfect for living a healthy productive life, but a new routine must be created in life in order to grow when the results of the old routine pay off. I'm still practicing this routine, but I will release a new episode on Tuesday. Goals. Thank you all for continuing to listen to me and my guest. I love you and very much appreciate you. Panic Attacks Are Nothing To Panic About Thanks To Joel Jimenez (@mostlysorry)
Joel Jimenez (@mostlysorry) comes to talk about his life growing up in Frog Town, a section of Los Angeles that has been classified as gentrified. He lived there when it wasn't gentrified though so we shared stories of being Mexican American in a crazy city. Joel also grew up with panic attacks. He was lucky to be diagnosed when he was younger. He is a comedian and a drummer in the band on the Kill Tony Podcast and is on tour. I talk about how I have been lacking in my workouts for the past 2 weeks, I want to meditate longer, like really long, like 30 or 45 minutes long, and I also give signs of panic attacks.
