Highlighting some of the amazing things being done by people with disabilities and 3. Removing the invisible barriers that society has built around the notion of disability. Oh, and we also talk about non-disability stuff too. Join me each Monday as I chat to a different guest who has their own unique journey, story and insights to share. I never know where the conversation is going to go and that makes it all the more interesting.

Sheri, who I consider to be the accessibility guru, is the Senior Staff Architect of Accessibility at VM Ware, is a disabled woman, disability advocate, mother of a disabled child and much more. From the U.S. Sheri and I talk about the experience of disabled people in the U.S. during COVID19, the fight for accessibility and rights of disabled people in the U.S. and much more. Ricki is a person of so many talents and has their fingers in many pies.  Ricki sheds light on some of the issues faced by people in the disability and LGBTQI+ communities and really brings home the point that people with disabilities all experience barriers in varying ways.

    I finally got the chance to chat to Leanne Watson of leanneswheellife.com - Leanne, who was diagnosed with a condition known as Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy in her 40s, talks about her transition from life prior to LGMD to now. We also got to talk about the exciting work she is doing with Kerry Williams of Accessible Accommodation. An exciting business which provides people with disabilities the freedom to get away by themselves or with loved ones.
