The Barely African team, made up of Mukuka, Diana, Producer Al, and their rotating panel of guests are well versed in the language and struggles of being third culture kids. Join them on their journey to unpack all the nuance and intricacies that come with the feeling of barely belonging to the culture one identifies with and lives within. There will be plenty of tea spilled along with relatable, funny and raw insights on all things messy, uncomfortable and taboo.

Barely African Meets TK Paradza
In this episode, Mukuka and Producer Al sit down with TK Paradza - a singer, songwriter, producer and former member of New Zealand boy band ‘Titanium’.
In what can only be described as a personal ‘origin story’ turned ‘music story’, they touched on issues of identity and the significant role that representation plays for people belonging to minority groups. Along with this, they also explore the difficult and at times painful conversations that third culture kids looking to pursue non-traditional careers inevitably have with their traditional immigrant parents.
