After the murder of George Floyd, many newsrooms across the nation started to change their tone. Sade Michelle sat down with two local news reporters who saw a transformation in their newsroom during the summer of 2020. The trio discusses life before 2020 and what they hope to see in the future.

At the start of the pandemic, all sports had to figure out a way to keep their athletes safe. Unlike some Division 1 conferences, the Southwestern Athletic Conference and Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, which are made up of multiple Historically Black Universities and Colleges, decided to postpone the regular football season.
