Avi is a co-founder and CEO of Entrio, which has raised a $11m seed round from prominent top tier investors like Communitas Capital, Vintage, Fin Capital, Alicorn, BNYM and American Family Insurance. Entrio is a platform that helps enterprises to drive the technology adoption of third party applications while reducing costs, risks, and complexity. With over 10 years of experience working with banks and technology firms, Avi has a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the fintech and banking sectors, and a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions and creating value for customers and partners. Prior to Entrio, Avi co-founded and led several startups. He was a Co-Founder at The Floor Hub, Israel's first fintech hub, which connected dozens of Israeli startups with global banks and corporations, resulting in multiple implementations and investments. He also incubated and launched two in-house ventures, including Mirato, a platform for third-party risk management. In addition Avi was a technology scout for the British government consulting multiple corporates and financial institutions looking to engage or invest in innovative technologies. In collaboration with Accenture, he created the Fintech government strategy for the UK and Israel. Avi holds a master's degree from Sciences Po, Paris, and a BA from Ben Gurion University. He is an alumnus of the IDF intelligence unit and a former basketball player and team captain. Avi is passionate about applying technologies to solve the biggest challenges in the business world.

His book Institutionalization of UX: A Step-by-Step Guide to User Experience Practice (now in its second edition) provides a roadmap for companies to make usability a systematic, routine practice throughout their organizations. He co-developed The HFI Framework™, an ISO-certifiable process for user-centered design, built on principles from human- computer interaction, ergonomics, psychology, computer science, and marketing.His experience includes UX design, consulting, and training projects for over 200 Fortune 500 clients, and leading projects omni-channel UX strategy, omnichannel UX, innovation, design, and persuasion engineering. Eric is actively engaged with HFI staff and clients around the world and is working to disseminate UX design methods globally.Eric has a longstanding interest in persuasion design. He pioneered the development of methods to optimize Persuasion, Emotion, and Trust (PET Design), and has applied these methods to increase conversion for organizations such as the California State Government, Fidelity, Macy's, MetLife, REI, Taj Hotels, and Vodafone. He has led development of the HFI courses on persuasion engineering and has taught them worldwide.Eric is a Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE). He earned his MS and PhD in Applied Psychology, specializing in Human Performance, from Stevens Institute of Technology. His BA is in Psychology from Clark University. In 1981 Eric founded Human Performance Associates, the precursor to Human Factors International, Inc., which was incorporated in 1988.

Eran is the CEO and Co-Founder of Ingredient Brothers a company that makes the ingredient search and procurement process so easy for customers, that they now do business with companies like Walmart, Cosco, and WholeFoods.



He grew up watching his father grow a successful import business that was built on integrity and customer service. A South African transplant, Eran started his career at Deloitte. From there, he came to New York to pursue his MBA at Columbia.

Eran was an early employee at Plated, where he focused on building planning and sourcing programs. The team's collective efforts led to a $300M sale to Albertsons.He then went to join Nuts.com, one of the world's largest nuts and specialty ingredient e-commerce companies. He was quickly elevated to COO and quadrupled capacity to support growth in 2020.

Fun Fact: Eran took a gap during college to attend culinary school, where he solidified his love of food.
