    Bordeaux Blended

Welcome to the first Episode of IN VINO. This week we drink Koerner The Clare 2018, we put a Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz through the blender to see if it aerates faster than decanting, and we discuss everything from Champagne Sabrage too smashing bottles over the back of a boat. All of the great Aussie wines that we try come courtesy of the great guys at http://www.differentdrop.com. Different Drop is an online retailer established 6 years ago in a garage by a couple of Sydney mates. They're obsessed with making it easier than ever for wine lovers to discover the very best hand-crafted, artisanal wines from around Australia, and as of this week, the rest of the world too! You can find thousands of rare, delicious and great value wines on their easy-to-use website, and have your own custom-made mix delivered to your doorstep in no time. When you create an account you'll also receive a special offer to use on the boys' wide range of awesome mixed packs! EPISODE NOTES: Check out Koerner Wine: https://koernerwine.com.au/ We drank: 2018 ‘The Clare’ Red Wine. 12.9% Alc. 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Petit Verdot, 20% Malbec & 20% Cabernet Franc. The Clare is a super cool wine from the Vivian, Attunga, and Bass Hill Vineyards in the Clare Valley. The wine has minimum intervention, no fining or filtration, and the fruit is all fermented with it's indigenous yeast. We love this wine and describe it as extremely drinkable with nice red fruits, bright acidity, and a fresh minty finish. We recommend you eat it with spring lamb or eggplant dishes. Same, Same but Different

Welcome back to IN VINO. This week we drink the 2019 Ravensworth Riesling and Brave New Wine Doppelganger, we play Wine or Wank, and we discuss why wine makers are trying out new and interesting methods of wine making. When you create an account you'll also receive a special offer to use on the boys' wide range of awesome mixed packs! EPISODE NOTES: We drank: 2019 Ravensworth Riesling 100% Riesling. Ravensworth are a small producer in the ACT. They make their wines out of the famous Clonakilla winery. We described this wine as having great acidity, green apple crunch, and a nice sourness and effervescence. We recommend you try it with a rich indian curry or seafood. Brave New Wine Doppelganger Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris. It's an orange wine with a good amount of skin contact that leads to a nice structure and mouth feel. It's interesting, unique, and something different to traditional white wine. Subscribe to us on ITUNES, STITCHER, SPOTIFY or your podcatcher of choice. Find us on FACEBOOK, TWITTER or INSTAGRAM.
