In this episode I discuss black hairstyles in the workplace through my own experience. There's so much more that I wish I would've mentioned in this episode, but I had to just jump on the mic to say what I felt in the given moment. Nowadays companies are trying to be more diverse (sadly that it's something that needs to be "tried" and "accepted") but I believe that society is headed in a positive direction. Black women are now feeling confident entering the workplace with hairstyles that may seem dramatic to their non-black colleagues, but are normal protective styles for us. I think it's important for non-black people to understand that braids, weaves, wigs, etc. worn by black women are not only from heritage and tradition, but also are protective styles which help us maintain our natural hair underneath for whatever the occasion. And if there's one lesson to be learned when it comes to black women and our hair, DON'T TOUCH OUR HAIR"!

On this episode I discuss the unfairness the PRIDE community receives when expressing their thoughts for equalilty, understanding and acceptance. 

Co-parenting doesn't have to be difficult, yet some of you make it so that it is difficult. Get out your feelings and step up to the plate and learn how to care for these children by communicating and providing the necessary support (financially, emotionally, etc.). Working together as parents will yield the best results while raising children.

What a year it has been?! Closing out the year 2020 with my tenth episode of Just Say It with Lenabeautifulll. I'll just call it my final episode to Season 1. Although, all of my goals weren't met, 2020 made me more faithful and ready for 2021.
