    The Whirlwind Continues

On this episode of "Millennial Manifesto", we discuss..

It’s been a week of flux in the world of politics. President Trump has been pretty quiet in Washington, but the whirlwind continues. Rex Tillerson met with Putin for nearly two hours on Wednesday. Both the United States and Russia have alluded to this being the lowest point in the two countries’ relationship since the Cold War.

The relationship with Russia is just one of the things President Trump has seemed to reverse his position on over the course of the week. He has made U-Turns on China, Russia, Syria, and, perhaps the biggest, NATO.

Other than these issues, it’s been a pretty light news week. We received some feedback that people enjoy hearing our views on issues in a general context so that brings us to a segment called Millennial Theory. This will give us the opportunity to take a broad topic, and delve into it from our respective party’s viewpoint, as well as from a personal millennial perspective. This week, we’d like to start with a bang and talk about GUNS.

We also have a rousing segment of "Microfesto" and "In Other News..."

Tomahawk Missiles, Supreme Court Justices, and a Spider-Man Movie

Thanks for liking us enough to come back for Round 3.

    On today's episode, we discuss:

Missiles Fired! President Trump orders the launch of 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles at a Syrian airbase. The decision was made after the Syrian government used chemical weapons in an attack that killed 80 of their own civilians.

Judge Neil Gorsuch has officially been confirmed as the ninth Supreme Court justice this afternoon. The confirmation will finally fill the vacancy left by Antonin Scalia over a year after his death. With Democrats opposing and filibustering the Gorsuch nomination, Senate Republicans made the unprecedented move to “go nuclear”. They voted to change the voting process to need a majority vote, rather than the 60 votes typically needed.

We also have a new segment called MICROFESTO. It's like a game show, but with half the fun and none of the stakes.
