Reflections! With DonovanTPS Donovan Santiago

In today’s episode I sit down with my good friend Damali Ross. Me and Damali first met while in John Dewey High School. While I myself was in film school and doing extra work I started to see Damali doing stunt work and appearing on many TV shows and movies. We started to reconnect as Damali came to see two of my improv shows. In this episode we dive into Damali’s history as a gymnast, our first-time meeting, diving into stunts and many other topics.

Bio:

Damali Ross was born in Guyana, South America. Her family moved her to NYC when she was young and there she became a competitive USAG gymnast, placing 3rd at the 2005 State Championships. Ms. Ross later graduated from Oswego University with a BA in Fine Arts but ultimately became a professional stunt performer. She was Taft-Hartleyed by Adam Sandler and Allen Covert while working on the production named ‘The Week Of’ and by that years end was taken under the mentorship of Jeff Ward while working on ‘BlacKkKlansman’. DonovanTPS sits down with good friend Bryan King in a short, but fun interview. Bryan and Donovan have both worked together many times as background actors on film shoots. Bryan has also attended many of Donovan's shows. The two met back in 2017 through Keith Mackler who has also been interviewed on this podcast. Bryan also recently appeared in A Wilderness of Error as Detective Beasley.

I sit down with my long time friend Jason "Ram" Bellido. Listen in as we talk about our first time meeting, re-meeting after 5 years, working together in 2006 and 2007 and all the other fun stuff.

Ram and Donovan attended the same elementary school and even went to the same college for a time. They have also appeared together on stage at The PIT in NYC. Spiritual Ram is an actor, writer, producer, and proud student of Guru Enlightment. Ram has grown up with Donovan since the fifth grade. Since then they've made Youtube videos and they're still good friends till this day! Ram has written and produced his first show "Ass" the play. He plans to do more in the future.

In this episode I sit down with my best friend Patricia Cherry. Meeting in High School in 2006, we quickly became best friends. When I first got my camera in 2008 Patricia was one of the first to become regular in my YouTube videos. Throughout the years she has appeared in short films like Pink Dog, The Unknown Threat, Encounter with The Devil and Chicken Little Returns.

Patricia was also a big part of #ThePrinceVsCena series, The Stalker (Short Film) and The Prince WWE style promos. Patricia also continues to be my best friend. So, take a journey down the rabbit hole as we explore our first meeting, video stories and we even do a little improv. Check it out.

Andrew became one of the main characters in ThePrinceVsCena series which ran from 2016-2018. In recent years he has appeared in I am John Cena (Parts 1 and 2) and Pink Dog (2020) which is currently in a few film festivals at the moment. Join these two as they take a trip down memory lane.
