With 57 participating and 11 cooperating states, the OSCE is the world's largest regional security organization. The arms control agreements date back to the early 1990s and were made in response to the arms race in Europe. In the military area, the OSCE strives to promote openness, transparency and cooperation among participating states. In this film, the individual arms control agreements are briefly presented and we go into more detail about the confidence- and security-building measures of the "Vienna Document".
