Finding a new foundation for my life
I feel gratitude and newly found freedom which I cannot quite express. My name is Patrick, I am from Austria and I come from Catholicism, anthroposophy and have found Ryan on YouTube. My entire life I have been an admirer of the ancient world and of Marcus Arelious especially. I have just been heavily betrayed by a teacher who has been there for me for 17 years and I’m just starting out on the stoic past and already during the first few days I’m feeling freedom and inner strength which were badly destroyed. Ryan keep up your work and I’m sending you my deepest appreciation for everything you do
Great educational tool
I really liked listening to this...especially the Kara Cooney episode. I was thinking about how great it would be for my teens....to incorporate stoicism (much need these days) and an Egyptologist (as they are Egyptian) however, there is a fair amount of swearing, which sadly diminishes this as an educational tool for teens. Perhaps that could be mulled over for future episodes. Thank you
