(An inspirational podcast about the journey that is life) Nina and her guests talk openly about dark thoughts and tough times and how they got through them. Each person's devastating life event is unique and we call it your 'THIS'. So if you don't want your 'THIS' to consume and define you, tune in to tap into the experience of people who have been there before. You'll hear from some highly successful people about their lowest moments, all of them at least 10 years past their 'THIS'. We end each guest episode asking these 3 questions:1- "What would you tell your younger self if you were sitting across from your-younger-you now?" 2- "what do you know now that you didn't know then" 3- "what is one thing people can do today - to move forward?"(trauma, injury, illness, failure, fired, suicide, divorce, accident, loss, stoicism, resilience)

    Queer interfaith minister and spiritual counselor, Erika Allison joins us to talking about coming out as Gay in the 90's in Texas, conversion therapy and identity harm. She is passionate about helping teens find spiritual liberation, restore belonging and heal from identity harm.
