A ‘Must Subscribe’ Podcast!

I am thankful to have come across this podcast! As a self-crowned Podcast Aficionado, I am always on the hunt for something new in psychiatry, something intelligent, something catchy. And this podcast fit all three requirements! Both hosts appear young and engaged with each others dialog and I have already advanced in my own pursuit of knowledge, garnered from the introductory episodes, so I am very excited for future episodes.

As much as I listen to podcasts in the medical profession - rarely do I log on to leave a review, as a podcast definitely needs to 'hook me' in order for me to take that time. The Carlat Psychiatry Podcast has done just so. Kudos to both hosts for being informative instead of the usual rambling on that comes with this specialty.

I highly recommend this podcast for anyone practicing psychiatry, experienced and as well as those new to the field.

Stimulant dosing

Frustrating that this is so US-centric, only really discussing Adderal, w no reference to Dexamphetamine, which many if not most ADHDers in the rest of the world are more likely to be on if not on Methylphenidate. As the molecule is different, the dosage would be too, presumably. Also Vyvamse is more common than Adderal overseas. Also more reference to combos w guanfacine etc (as alternative to raising dose) should have been made.
