Episode 35 - Creating an industry changing beauty product, listening to your entrepreneurial drive plus health & lifestyle while running a business

Welcome to a brand new episode of Be the Girl Podcast! Today's episode is a special one, I am chatting to Madison Rapa, founder and CEO of Tanzee, for her very first podcast interview. Madi started Tanzee 6 years ago at age 23, from a frustration with her sheets being ruined from her weekly self tanning ritual. After realising there was a huge gap in the market and thinking others may also be experiencing this on a weekly basis, Madi,  with the help of her mum researched and created her own self-tan bed sheet protector, that was a huge industry game changer and remains the hero product for Tanzee. We chat all about Madi's entrepreneurial drive that started when she was just 12 years old selling her handmade jewelry on consignment, starting out in business,  learning as you go and following your passion, product innovation and development and pushing the boundaries of the beauty industry. We also chat about health, lifestyle and running a business. Madi has had Lyme Disease since starting Tanzee in 2015 and today we would like to raise awareness and I am so honoured to talk about this and for Madi to share her experience for the first time to inspire and empower others which is a huge step and extremely brave. This really is a must listen with something for everyone, let's get started!

Episode 33 - Why you should invest in yourself through Self Development right now GF!

Episode 33 - Why you should invest in yourself through Self Development right now GF!

Hi guys and welcome back to Be The Girl Podcast. Today I’m jumping on the pod to chat about Personal Development. We are into the February already which is kind of crazy! So it really is the time to get serious about the next steps we want to take in 2021 and actually start putting some things into action. For me personally, this year I am making Personal Development a priority. It is something that I have always done and been interested in throughout my career and through starting The Daily Pretty and this podcast but I really didn’t do that much last year – and I definitely felt the effects of this and the difference in my motivation and also having the confidence to push out of my comfort zone and go after new things both personally and professionally. SO, the universe was listening and The Bundle Co. reached out and asked TDP to collaborate on their latest bundle which is all about self improvement and development – I knew it felt right and was meant to be. In this episode I chat all about The Bundle Co, more on Personal Development and why you should invest in yourself right now more than ever, my top highlights for the bundle and how I personally complete bundles (this will be my third!) and how they have been critical to my career and growing The Daily Pretty and this podcast? Ready to invest in yourself and realise your true capabilities right now GF? Get you bundle here! Available until 14 Feb 2021 only! Link to the bundle: https://thedailypretty.com/personaldevelopmentbundle

Mere Mortals Podcast ,

Fashionable!

Hayley asks great questions and the podcast on a whole smooths fluidly. Particularly enjoyed her convo with Victoria from Miss Métier. Helped me understand a bit more about the fashion industry and on the mindset of a small business owner.

Key takeaways are great!

The key takeaways and actual real life examples are fantastic. Sometimes the things you hear are just 'lip service' but actually hearing it straight from someone who has experienced it first hand is so invaluable!

nnielee ,

Very insightful!

Love Hayley, the podcast guests and the discussions! However, I think the audio quality can be improved. Looking forward to seeing this podcast grow!
