Dr. Jody Carrington: Self-Pub Superstars, Part 2

I can't with this soulmate client. I'm pressed for words to share how much I love this woman, author, and communicator. I promise you've never met anyone like Dr. Jody Carrington. I call her Canada's Brené Brown (mixed with some Jerry Seinfeld), so that's close. But, well. Just see for yourself. When I met Jody at one of my Carmel retreats at the start of her writing career, it only took two minutes to know that I was sitting with a superstar. I'd never before encouraged someone to forgo tradi...

Jenny Lawson & Laura Belgray, TMI Queens: The Art of the Overshare

It's open books all the way with these two TMI queens and their no-holds-barred, hilarious ways. They're the perfect duo to break my 6-month hiatus from the show. Mark Manson: The subtle art of movie making & selling millions of books

Three #1 New York Times bestsellers. Nearly twenty million books sold. One of the most popular self-development blogs in the world. What more could Mark Manson take on? As of this week, movie stardom. Suppose you're a fan of Mark'sThe Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck (or his follow-up book, Everything's F*cked: A Book About Hope). In that case, I predict you'll LOVE how Universal Pictures depicts this beloved counterintuitive approach to living a good life from page to screen. It was a blast fo...

A TALE OF TWO CITIES ,

The Solo Star

I’ve listened to many of Linda’s episodes where she guides beautiful writers to share their stories. Always wonderful, engaging content and banter but Linda’s solo ep struck gold for me. A personal ride with her, at once heart-wrenching and heart-warming with hints of the hilarious, as she throws in her personalised zinger lines and whip smart quips. She is the Book Mama for a reason… she has blazed her own trail, lived enough and loves enough to get real with us, as she steers the conversation solo so adeptly. Will listen again and again for all the nuggets to take down. Excellent.

Absolutely delicious

Could this podcast be more delicious? I don’t think so! What a discovery this has been. Linda’s voice - the most heavenly in the history of podcasting - is soothing, delightful, captivating. I’m binge listening alllllll the episodes which play like true conversations between best friends. Writers, this is a nourishing, soulful offering you’re going to LOVE.

Beautiful soulful podcast

I feel like I’m among friends listening to this podcast and have discovered so many amazing writers through listening. I’ve binged all the previous seasons and am so grateful to Linda for her amazing interviews each month (she has a beautiful, positive voice and outlook on life and I love listening to her go deep with each writer). It’s such a beautiful, spiritual journey, and one that encourages me to write my own novels knowing that the best of the best are also going through the same process as me. Thank you ❤️
