Melissa specialises in portraits, but not your usual kinds of portraits, she doesn’t use canvas and paints, instead she uses cardboard and a scalpel. As far as we know she is the only person in the world to do art work/portraits this way. gough asks her all the why and how’s in regards to her work, her tools of the trade and how she learnt this technical art form. Melissa also explains her love of getting to know the people she does portraits for and how that helps her in her craft. Melissa is also a keen life drawer and talks about that passion as well.
