We all have one so let's get to know it

What an educational journey! Ginger has such a lovely approach to opening up your mind to all things brain-related. Every episode has something in it that gets my brain thinking about itself. Although my career has no medical-related aspect to it (engineering), apart from staying fit and heathy, there are so many ideas that 'blow my mind' coming out of the great interviews that Ginger conducts. Concepts that you expect to be indecipherable become quite understandable and enjoyably digestible. My favourites would have to include anything concerning brain plasticity. Norman Doidge is my hero! Thinking back through some of the earlier episodes on embodiment, consciousness and pain start to make some sense of how we function, how we perceive and interact with the world and why we do the things the way we do. Thank you Ginger for broadening my mind and making the journey a little bit more understandable and enjoyable.

Understanding your brain

Ginger does a great job of reviewing and summarising really interesting research about the brain. She has excellent guests and helps to draw out their expertise in a manner that can be understood by the layperson. She also reviews books about the brain which is really helpful as she takes an independent view.
