Music to my ears

What a joy to find a podcast firmly grounded in expert advice backed up by evidence based research on this topic.
As a mother of a 7 month old who is a light sleeper and began to develop a pattern of catnapping and snacking on the breast to fall asleep I have been working constantly to create a healthy sleep, feed and play rhythm since 4 months. I tend to experienced insomnia too and am a light sleeper myself.
We have a way to go and it goes up and down but there have been great developments. This podcast has backed up what I’ve been doing, which gives me confidence we’re on track and good sleeps are coming. I’ve also picked up some little tweaks that I’m trying now and last night bub had only one feed in middle of night and resettled himself babbling 4 times without me going in to support him. Not holding my breath but that was a major breakthrough and shows what is possible.
The discussion between Laura and Fallon is rich with well educated information and emotionally warm. What a great balance for this area. You have really found your calling! Thanks so much. Warmly, Fiona
