It may seem a little exaggerated to say this, but Carey and this podcast has restored my faith in leadership. I have been listening to Carey's podcast now for almost 3 years. When I began listening (ep 219 was one of my first), I must admit that I was cynical and a little jaded towards the practice of leadership - even though I was leading. But as I listened week in, week out, I was gradually won over by Carey's candour and vulnerability, by his insightful questions, and by the fascinating stories of his guests. Slowly, I felt my perspective clear and my passion come back to life. The breadth and depth of his guests has kept me fresh, developed new skills, deepened my thinking. It has richly and positively impacted not just my professional life, but my personal life as well. My family, my friends, and those I lead are grateful. Therefore, I am too. Thank you.
