Very entertaining

If you persist with the dramatisation, it’s a great listen. They’re not necessary but the other bits are great. There are lots of interviews with people and the story moves along beautifully.

Great story but!

A very interesting podcast but what I don’t understand is how can someone be duped into believing someone masquerading as a Canadian Embassy official in Canada? Just goes to show how gullible some of the victims are in which case some of them are just dreamers hoping to land that one rich man to splurge on them. The five star rating is only for effort the host put to tell the story.
Some of the victims got what they deserved as far as I’m concerned.

Compelling

If you can get through the first few episodes with the re-enactments, buckle up. What these victims have experienced is devastating and this podcast is an important piece in what will hopefully eventuate into some kind of recognition and justice for the people who this exceptionally prolific serial con artist has cruelly impacted.
