Dice Paper Role: A DnD 5e Podcast

I started playing D & D in 1977, and although it is many years since I last rolled Attack Dice, I am loving the hugely entertaining adventures of the Tight Five. I’m still on Season One, but frequently burst out laughing at the wit, the characterization and almost flawless accents of the party, as well as thoroughly enjoying the adventure. I look forward to Lauren Bock joining as a female perspective might balance some of the blokey jokes. I highly recommend Dice Paper Role.

Dice Paper Role provides an immense backlog of older episodes, each of which contains tremendous amounts of comedic moments. As they’ve moved to recording newer series and live events, the care and love for what they do continues to astound to provide a welcoming D

These stories flow like the rising tide; or more like pebbles lifted along the shore because there’s a kind of aggregate here. You can feel how well these rocks conglomerate. They’re all just rolling along with each other lazier than slag down the slurry! You guys rock!! I’m sorry this is my first episode, I’m gonna have to do some back-catalogue work. Can’t wait.

Season 4 of Dice Paper Role has been a remarkable journey for the crew and listening to the shift as the team gets used to recording remotely has been a treat in dark times! Curse of Strahd is a fantastic campaign and DPR handle it in a unique, introspective, hilarious and at time grotesque way that highlights the performers vulnerability friendship and all round enjoyment. Shout out to Lauren Bok who’s addition to the podcast has been a revelation! I can’t recommend the podcast enough!
