Ep 26 How to fall pregnant with PCOS with Ellen Louise Naturopath

Conscious Health & Life

Welcome to part 3 of my fertility series!🤰🧑‍🍼

Many people are diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and are told they will never be able to fall pregnant – but that's not true and I have helped so many women in my clinic to fix their PCOS, start ovulating regularly and in turn reach their goal of falling pregnant.

In this episode, we dive into how PCOS affects fertility and explore effective management strategies.

So many women are misdiagnosed as having PCOS when they actually do not, likewise - so many women miss a diagnosis. This is mainly because the diagnostic criteria is often not followed correctly - eg. you actually cannot be diagnosed with PCOS by ultrasound ONLY. Also back the other way - you cannot have PCOS ruled out by ultrasound alone. There are three diagnostic criteria for diagnosis that I discuss on this episode.

Once you have been diagnosed with PCOS we need to figure out the underlying reason. There are four types of PCOS - meaning there are four types of driving factors. By listening to this episode you might be able to uncover which type of PCOS you have and understanding this will help to know how to treat to THEN be able to start ovulating regularly and THEN fall pregnant.
