One of the things we are taught in life, is that pain is to be avoided. We are not taught how to deal with emotional pain, or to process it, and instead, we learn to hide it and ignore it.
So instead of dealing with it as it happens, we hide it inside, and buffer it away by distracting ourselves with food, alcohol, television, social media, and anything else we can find that will keep us out of our head, and out of our now.
Our inability to process pain, and our insistence on ignoring it, is not healthy at all. Anxiety, depression, addictions, anxiety, stress, and illnesses arise from this energy trapped within us.
In this meditation I am going to take you through opening up to the pain that is already inside of you, and guide you through feeling it, so that you can allow it to process and move through you, allowing you to finally be free.
