Motherland Australia

This week, I catch up with rural mum Benita Bensch who shares her incredible journey to start a family. Benita was consumed by her challenge to conceive. For four years she fought for the family she'd always dreamed of, then, navigated her way through an anxiety-ridden pregnancy and later a surprise set of twins. Her battle with infertility was so difficult and so dark, she kept an intimate journal which she later turned into a bestselling book. It also inspired her to launch her own business to support other women. This is her story..----------------------------------------------------------------------------Update: Clomid (which Benita discusses in the podcast) causes the anterior pituitary gland in the brain to release hormones which stimulate ovulation.------------------------------------------------------------------------------SPONSOR: Tori Kopke is the Rural Business Coach, a wife and mother who's based on the family farm in the Wheatbelt of WA.
