    62. Lessons from growing a business to $3 million feat. Jai Howitt

Starting a business can be an effective way to accelerate your wealth, but it doesn’t come without risk. The problem is, not many entrepreneurs are willing to speak openly about the mistakes they’ve made in their own businesses. In this episode, though, Natasha Etschmann (Tash Invests) and Ana Kresina (Head of Product & Community at Pearler) are joined by someone who is game to shatter that taboo.
Jai Howitt is a travel photographer and entrepreneur who founded a company which skyrocketed to $3 million in revenue. After reaching this milestone, Jai encountered some business hurdles – which he shares with the Get Rich Slow Club in-depth. You may come for the tales of success, but you’ll stay for his refreshing honesty!

    61. "I only invest in two ETFs. Am I diversified enough?"

    61. "I only invest in two ETFs. Am I diversified enough?"

Recently, a Get Rich Slow Club listener asked Tash and Ana an interesting question (which we’ve paraphrased below):
“I invest in two ETFs which track the S&P 500 and the ASX 200. Should I be diversifying even more, or should I stick to what feels good (and easy), which is automatically investing in the ETFs I currently have?”
Tash and Ana love questions like this, because they get to the crux of getting rich slow. That’s why they’ve committed this episode to approaching it from every angle. If you’ve ever wondered how much diversification is “enough”, you won’t want to miss this session!

    60. Our top frugal hacks feat. Hayden Smith from Pearler

    60. Our top frugal hacks feat. Hayden Smith from Pearler

On the journey to getting rich slow, frugality can often seem like a less flamboyant travel companion. However, when deployed wisely, frugality can be a game-changer in any long-term wealth-building quest. That’s why Natasha Etschmann (Tash Invests) and Ana Kresina (Head of Product & Community at Pearler) have devoted this episode to their top frugal hacks.
They’re joined in this endeavour by Hayden Smith, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Pearler. Beyond being the technical mind behind Pearler, Hayden is also a renowned disciple of frugality. In this episode, they ponder a range of crucial frugality questions, including:
    - What’s a good price per kilo for clothing?
    - How much cake mix is TOO much (even if it’s really cheap)?
    - Are budget airlines worth the discounts?
    - What’s acceptable to take from a hotel, and what is theft?
If you’ve been looking to upgrade your frugality game, this is the episode for you!

    59. What you need to know about share registries feat. Ibrahim Hussein from Computershare Australia and New Zealand

Share registries are like franking credits or family trusts: most people don’t think about them until they become investors. In fact, if you’ve never (or rarely) invested before, your eyes might have understandably glazed over at “share registries”.
However, whether you’re a would-be, novice, or seasoned investor, it pays to learn more about share registries. The better you understand them, the better equipped you’ll be to make the right choices for your investing journey.
To give you the deep dive you deserve, Natasha Etschmann (Tash Invests) and Ana Kresina (Head of Product & Community at Pearler) welcome the perfect guest for this topic: Ibrahim Hussein, Head of ETFs at Computershare Australia and New Zealand.
In this episode, Ibrahim chats with Tash and Ana about all things share registry, and answers some common insights. And because this is the Get Rich Slow Club, they also delve into some ETF insights.

    57. How to work towards Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE) feat. Dave Gow from Strong Money Australia

    57. How to work towards Financial Independence Retire Early (FIRE) feat. Dave Gow from Strong Money Australia

“Financial Independence Retire Early – or FIRE”. The name is so epic that the concept practically sells itself. However, there’s nothing clickbaity about the road to FIRE. Like many topics we cover on this podcast, FIRE requires structure, consistency, and a long-term plan.
The good news? With enough of those three qualities, FIRE can be attained by virtually anyone.
Few people embody this better than Dave Gow, founder of Strong Money Australia and co-host of the Aussie FIRE podcast. Having reached FIRE by age 28, Dave now shares his FIRE experiences with people across Australia. And in this episode, Natasha Etschmann (Tash Invests) and Ana Kresina (Head of Product & Community at Pearler) chat with Dave about all things FIRE.
If you’re working towards Financial Independence yourself, you’ll get a kick out of this session!

Fantastic content

The podcast is informative and everything is broken down in an easy to understand way (particularly love the analogies!) I really appreciate that both Tash and Ana have shared their personal experiences with finances.
It has helped me sooooo much to just start investing, otherwise I would 100% still be stuck in analysis paralysis. The podcast has really helped break down the stigma that investing is only for a certain group of people (people with a lot of money)-investing can be for everyone!

Great podcast

Great Podcast ladies, although I know as bout 90% of the topics , still love to listen to your show & share it with my kids and younger friends.
Keep up the good work.

Informative content! Keep it coming

I’ve just listened to all your episodes to date and have got so much value in the content. I’ve been going down the rabbit hole of FI and long term investing the last few years and whilst not a beginner nor an expert, I found you both have either further explained concepts articulately and provided answers to the gaps I’ve encountered, listening to other finance podcasts. Thank you!
