Unique Games Journalism - Best Podcast Available
Here’s the thing, every other professional podcast is just second rate compared to this.
The backbone of this team is age and experience. They are their own masters and have the creative oversight to say what they want and make it what they want. This is a rare concoction in any form of journalism today, and is what gives the Giant Bomb crew credibility.
This results in real, thorough and actual objectivity when discussing games and the reason I can’t stomach all the other mainstream places for getting content, I just can’t trust that what other people are saying. Giant Bomb don’t gush every AAA release in order to get their name printed on some game promo. Nor do they do it to keep publishers on side.
When I found this podcast (and their East counterparts of the Beastcast) I stopped bothering to listen to any other trash gaming podcast that couldn’t get anywhere near the quality that Giant Bomb delivers. Thanks Jeff, Brad and team. Keep doing the best podcast out there. 👍🏻
One of the most relatable podcasts out there
I been listening for years (finally subscribed to premium) I love the guys approach to the podcast format it’s like a group of friends sitting around a table discussing their favorite topic VIDEO GAMES! Finally seeing their faces after all these years was quite a awesome experience. Anyway if you want a podcast that’s informative and fun and inclusive this is it. Peace
Like grabbing a beer with the boys
The podcast has a great format. A bunch of games journalists sitting around talking about what has happened the last week or so. Very casual. The guys talk about what games they’re playing, current news for the week and answer emails from listeners. The atmosphere is so chill that t feels like you’re sitting with them while drinking a beer and having a catchup. Love it. Keep up the awesome work guys.
