Paul the apostle is speaking of a 2 x 6 foot tall door that you carry and then you can join your door with others to make those doors create a greater shield. These brought together can form a moving tank and be a formidable offensive weapon taking territory. James exposes 3 tricks of the devil: 1) He speaks in 1st person about himself; 2) He tries to get us into isolationism; 3) and into condemnation instead of conviction.
