Nothing special
If you want to hear coming out stories this is for you! Otherwise it’s just the host repeating her same story she’s told before.
Loved it
Really enjoyed the first episode & can’t wait for the rest!
Disappointed
As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I’m absolutely horrified by Sophie’s description of sexualising women, defended by “it’s okay we all do it”. No we don’t, Sophie. There is a real issue with media over-sexualising WLW relationships which Sophie’s behaviour and interviewer style only continues to perpetuate. It’s clear that Sophie carries an immense amount of internalised misogyny and homophobia which is in full view with this podcast. Identifying as a lesbian does not give you a pass to act inappropriately and I wish Sophie would stop using the progress of our community for monetary and social gain - especially when she does little else for the community using her platform (a podcast where she admits to preying on women in public does not count). Sophie, I wish you healing.
