As the coronavirus continues to upend communities across the world, there are a particular group of people who are at risk that often go unnoticed - expectant mothers.  If you want to learn more about this challenge and what is being done to support those that we love and who are pregnant, then this is an episode of I Am The Change that you don't want to miss.
Today we talk with Shawna Knight, RN, BSN, a perinatal nurse from New Bern, North Carolina. She specializes in the Perinatal Care of Women’s and Children’s Health to include Labor and Delivery, Neonatology, Postpartum, and Pediatrics.  She is the Clinical Nurse Manager of the Women’s and Children’s Pavilion at Carolinaeast Health System and oversees the above units.
