Story Grid Writing Podcast

I am reading The Story Grid at the moment and as a new writer, this podcast is really breaking down story-writing in such beneficial ways and expanding/explaining the book further. I am binging it at the moment!

Joanna you are amazing and inspirational! I can get on board with your project evergreen! As a new but OLD writer l remember Psalm 92:14 that promises if we’re looking to God he’ll keep our sap green. At 66 I’m too lazy for a personal trainer and since l’ve never been too fit l don’t want send my body into shock. But good for you!

Shawn knows his stuff, and thejournye Tim is going on will resonate with many authors. Worth re-listening, and going back to consume the lot just to soak up Shawn's brilliant mind!

I can’t quite remember how I stumbled upon Story Grid the book and this Podcast, am so glad I did. I want to write and following Tim’s journey as he drafts and rewrites his first novel under the guidance and mentorship of Shawn is giving me the courage to get on with my own first novel. At first I dipped into recent episodes and very quickly committed to going back to the beginning and listening to all of them, I am still only in 2016 and thrilled there is still so much ahead. I am never bored, I am never impatient for an episode to end, I listen every chance I get. I am so thankful I found this resource, I am learning so much. I hope mention of it will someday appear in the Acknowledgements of my first book! Thank you Tim, Thank You Shawn.
