Jami Dulaney MD Plant Based Wellness Podcast: Episode 282: The Gift of Health
Welcome! and Thank you for listening!
We all want to be healthy, but many of us struggle with the change to a healthy lifestyle. What gets in the way. Spoiler alert, you are supporting it on your shoulders, and perhaps in your heart. Sure, there are roadblocks everywhere, but they don't stop you from getting where you really want to go! Perhaps it is not what is stopping you, but really what you are running from.
The holiday season is difficult for many people. The pressure for perfection can be overwhelming. Perhaps a different view is in order. A view that looks at the simple signs of hope and peace all around us. The efforts people make to show they care. I hope you find some of my suggestions helpful.
Take a moment to enjoy the silence. Take your nutrition back to the basics. Fruits and vegetables in their natural form without adding toxins and distractions. Do something simple but thoughtful for someone and observe their reaction and then yours. Peace and happiness is not as hard to find as you might expect. You just have to appreciate it in small doses.

Thank you Dr Dulaney for an informative, inspirational and personal podcast.
I am trying so hard to transition to a WFPB lifestyle and find your podcast is just the inspiration I need. I have been trying to spread this message in my little community in Western Australia.
Keep up the good work.
Love this podcast
I am an Australian and have been listening to Dr Dulaney's podcast for several months. I am very impressed with her interview style and the interesting interviewees. I admire her passion for plant-based nutrition, and her commitment to offering it as a treatment option for her patients. Dr Dulaney is forthright in her approach, but also open to sharing the challenges she faces as a physician, and also the challenges of her patients when transitioning to this lifestyle. I also hear her disheartenment in her voice sometimes when sharing stories of patients who are unable to make the change.
I also like that Dr Dulaney is open in sharing personal stories of her triathlon experiences, and her family which I also enjoy. I look forward to continuing to listen and enjoy.
