Healing space
Thanks Shelley for making us all feel less alone! Just one question? Why have you stopped speaking on the podcast - I really miss your input, conversation back and forth between you and the guest etc.. I really miss hearing your voice and always find myself wondering why you aren’t talking to the women? I wonder if I’m the only person who noticed lol anyway it hasn’t stopped me listening it’s just something i noticed! Keep doing what you’re doing xx

Thank you for providing this wonderful resource for grieving families. I have taken much comfort from hearing the stories and feeling less alone.
Some episodes I am unable to finish- while I appreciate that when going through this we should allow ourselves to feel all the feelings, I find some stories particularly damaging to hear. By that I mean the women who feel such anger and jealousy towards others who are pregnant and unable to find happiness for others. This is a mindset that I find difficult to relate to and therefore can’t manage to continue listening at times. At times I find it a very immature approach and I find myself frustrated with it.
I have had 3 miscarriages and watched several friends have babies in this time. I don’t want their babies, they are fully entitled to be parents too. I only want MY baby.
It is important to accept and sit in the discomfort my own disappointments bring while also allowing myself to be unequivocally happy for others.
Wonderful and healing podcast
Amazing Shelly has created this to help herself but now she’s transformed so many women’s live that have been or are going through miscarriage. The chats are super informative and have definitely helped me get more educated about losses. I’m hooked forever I think :)
