Mr

These podcasts are such a wonderful tool for learning because they link important concepts in Zen to real stories from real human experience. Its helped me a lot in learning about practise. Thanks Eshu Martin!

Simple, yet insightful

Ven. Eshu Martin has a way with words and such an understanding of the dharma that makes his talks easily accessible to beginner buddhists without "watering down" the content, making his talks just as insightful for experienced buddhists. Eshu has, more than most other contemporary zen teachers, generously provided his teachings online for us all to enjoy - even those of us across the ocean and who cannot join his sangha in person. Eshu injects humour into everyday plain language when discussing concepts that are all too often made convulted by other teachers using overly-esoteric language. I highly reccomend that anyone slightly interested in zen or buddhism in general download this podcast and checkout the other offerings from the Victoria Zen Centre.
