"Welcome back to The Mind Sensei, where we dive deep into the minds and journeys of the world’s most respected martial artists and combative experts. Today, I’m honoured to sit down with a man whose name is held in high regard across both martial arts and tactical training circles—Mr. Buddy Morrison. Mr. Morrison is the founder and senior instructor of Morrison Tactical, and is internationally recognized for his expertise in firearms, close-quarters combat, and real-world self-defense. He began shooting at the age of six, mentored by his father and grandfather, and his journey has since brought him under the wing of legendary figures like Gary O’Neal—a Ranger Hall of Famer—and Paul Castle, the innovator of the revolutionary Center Axis Relock system. Buddy would go on to become a Master Instructor in that very system, teaching military, law enforcement, and civilians alike. With over 35 years in the martial arts, Buddy holds black belts in five different systems—including a 7th Degree Black Belt in the American Kenpo Fighting System under Mr. Marcus Buonfiglio. He’s been inducted into the World Martial Arts Hall of Fame not once, but twice—earning the title of “Man of the Year” in 2001. From integrating pressure points and skeletal manipulation into his own fighting method, to serving as a Sheriff’s deputy to test his training in real-world conditions—Mr. Morrison embodies a rare blend of experience, discipline, and innovation. It’s a privilege to welcome him to the show. Mr. Buddy Morrison, welcome to The Mind Sensei."
