When we engage in not so useful human behaviours we are showing up with what I describe as a 'survival mindset', where we operate from a place of fear, self preservation, and self protection, as well as judgement and assumption. Now when we can masterfully shift to a place of exceptional self leadership and self regulation we are showing up with what I call a substance mindset. Scientists have learnt more about the human brain in the last 30 years than in all of history, particularly in the area of cognitive and neuroscience. And this new science assists us in many new ways to think about how we work with each other, how we collaborate and how we communicate with each other.
