Capital effort?
15/11/2023
•EPISODE: “Lockdown 3.1”, in which the host asserts the capital of New Zealand in Auckland. •EPISODE 7.11.23 “Marching Orders”: In which the BBC’s home affairs correspondent is indecisive: “I really felt for the police officers who were stuck LITERALLY on the line METAPHORICALLY between these two groups …”
Keir interview
12 Oct
What a joke, they have the prime minister on and do not bring up the pensioner heating allowance being cut, no talk of the police state and free speech, this show is nothing but a mouthpiece for government agenda. The public are waking up to the government control of media.
Adam ruins a superb show again.
12 Oct
Such a shame that a quality, long form conversation is typically ruined by Adam. Constant self obsession and “I” this and “I” that. Just let the guest or your colleagues talk. It’s not about you. Update Oct 2024 - having just listened to Adam and Chris interview the PM, something has to change. Adam’s excitable, immature performance was inane and embarrassing…e.g. nonsense about wallets and ID and the usual interruptions about himself. Chris sounds increasingly embarrassed and compromised having to share a platform with Adam. Adam ruins what is such a superb show - he’s so far out of his self-obsessed depth.
All about Harris’ clothes
24 Aug
Had enjoyed this pod until they opened with a segment on Harris’ clothing. Then tried to save it by saying Obama was dress well and the editing couldn’t be bothered telling them to start over!! Not a pod that should be in modern commentary
