Just listened to Economics with Ian Verender podcast 15.11.2023. I almost felt like it could have been scripted and written with intentional anti China sentiment and bias. This was pure propaganda, heavy with unsupported statements. For the ABC to demonstrate impartiality an episode with this content requires a right of reply. I generally enjoy the program and Ian’s reports, but this one showed a concerning shift to a very dodgy narrative.

I would like the producers to realise that there are many retirees over 70 who listen to evening radio. We are not interested in superannuation topics, how to make money, talk about cars, office politics etc. Please cater for us too. I love the topics on armchair travel, history, interesting people, nature and birds, science, astrophysics, cooking….. Bored with PC stuff… Seem very slack at downloading segments. Still only a handful of interviews downloaded.

I would happily listen to the podcasts, but they seem to take days, or even a week, to upload. Apart from that, I love everything about the program! Thanks.
