The episode so good it took a year to edit! Posting this almost 12 months to the day after recording in the spring of 2020. Mike Lapierre is the owner and head coach at Valley Jiu Jitsu in Kamloops. Less than a month before the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic restrictions, Mike was awarded his black belt in jiu-jitsu, a tremendous milestone and one well-deserved. Our chat covers a number of topics including Michael Bay, terrible analogies involving mice, deadly nerds, and the friendships formed by repeatedly trying to cut off each other's oxygen supply.
