    This episode is all about our relationship with food. Grace Deavin is an Eating Disorder and Mental Health dietitian based on Sydney's Northern Beaches. She specialises in helping people go from confused to enthused about their relationship with food, movement, and their bodies. With warmth, empathy and skilful counselling, Grace guides her clients on a journey away from restriction, towards balance and wellbeing. Grace is passionate about educating people on the intersect between food and mental health, and is an advocate for holistic lifestyle medicine in treating mental illness. Kindred is all about equipping leaders with the tools they need to create trauma-informed, mentally healthy workplaces. Amy worked for about 9 years with not-for-profits as a social worker, working with people seeking aslyum, refugees and in suicide prevention and mental health before starting her own business. Kindred began because Amy was frustrated at the disconnect between the trauma-informed care frontline workers were expected to provide to others, and the tangible support offered to those very same staff daily. Amy reasons with me about how, in any organisation that involves humans it is imperative to have an emotionally safe trauma-informed environment.
