Leave the item in the cart and wait 24 hours. If there's a discount or freebie it will be emailed to you or shown in an ad to nudge you across the line. Takes some patience but often worthwhile.
And this is a prime example of effective remarketing or retargeting. This episode focuses mainly on eCommerce businesses but these same concepts can be taken and implemented for service-based businesses, particularly if your call to action is to book an appointment or a free consultation.
