The signs of financial abuse are often not that clear

The signs of financial abuse are often not that clear

This episode is a tough one and full disclaimer before we get into it, if you have experienced forms of abuse this show may be triggering for you. Financial abuse is not a widely spoken about issue, however it is extremely prevalent in Australia right now so we thought it was time to have a chat about it. Whilst this episode was recorded a couple of weeks ago, given recent news it feels incredibly timely. Join us as we discuss this insidious form of abuse, learn ways of spotting red flags in our relationships and chat about what we can do if we ever find ourselves in this incredibly hard to navigate situation.

This week we are so appreciative to have 86 400 supporting us again through an ep that was honestly really bloody hard to get through. We've spoken about them before, but if you haven't heard, 86 400 is Australia's first ever smartbank - they help you take control of your finances by providing insights into your saving and spending habits so you can keep on top of your money goals. Search 86400.com.au to discover every frill Australia's first ever smartbank has to offer you today.

HUGE FAN!

I absolutely love SOTM and the advice and content is great. But going with other ratings, season two hasn’t flowed as well. I feel that at time’s the way V speaks and replies to G is very undermining. Still very much looking forward to season 3 though.

Melissa Jaye ,

I’m hooked!

I’m absolutely hooked on this podcast look forward to it every week! Managed to convert a few of my friends over, and every season we now have clothes swap to save money! Love the cute little nicknames you guys give eachother! Keep it up! Excited for the release of your first book!!😊

Lauren pavs ,

S1 yes! S2 not so much

LOVED season 1 but haven’t really been able to listen to season 2. It’s much too scripted. The info and what you’re trying to do is SO good but it’s just not coming through smoothly. Big hopes for S3 though!!
