Shortcut: The Senseless Killing of Beloved Scott Cabrie - Part Two

Australian True Crime

This is a "Shortcut" episode. It’s a shortened version of this week’s more detailed full episode, which is also available on our feed.

This is the second instalment of a two part episode about the killing of Queensland Uber Driver, Scott Cabrie.

Tye Wayne Porter was convicted of manslaughter over Scott's death and sentenced to nine and a half years in prison with a non-parole period of six years.

There was another offender involved who can't be named because he was a minor at the time of the attack. He was sentenced to 15 years, which is the longest sentence ever handed down to a minor in Queensland, but he could be released after serving nine and a half years.

Today we hear from Scott's brother, Ian Cabrie.
