Great concept, really enjoyable
Feel like the host butts in a bit too much for me, but really enjoyed it otherwise.
This is really nice listening. Fun. Funny. Interesting.
Too much host!
I’m so sorry to be negative - I know how much hard work would go into making this podcast.
There is just far, far too much laughing.
Ricky Gervais is brilliant at all he does, and he’s such a generous guest, but he’s not being that funny here. As in, he’s not setting out to entertain, to make us laugh. And yet the presenter laughs and laughs to such an extent, it’s really distracting.
Maybe the moral is - don’t interview your heroes.
Especially when you’ve set this up as “the best interview Ricky has ever done” (I know that was the original one, but the inference is this is going to be as good).
Again, sorry to be negative.
